How much money do you want to make? That is the question that many business owners ask themselves when they are deciding what to do with their website. If the answer is “a lot,” then you should be focusing on conversion rate optimization strategies. Many businesses spend time trying to increase traffic to their website, and fail to improve the conversion rate once they get there. This is a huge mistake. In this blog post, we will discuss 11 steps that will help increase your conversion rates and generate more revenue for your business!
because that’s what heroes do
Step One: website design and usability. The first step to increase conversions is making sure your website has a professional look and feel, with easy navigation for visitors. It should be mobile responsive too! This doesn’t mean you have to invest in the most expensive web designer – there are plenty of affordable options out there (here’s an inexpensive one!). When it comes time to pick colors or fonts on your site, remember that these decisions can make a big impact when it comes to conversion rates. Pick a palette that appeals to as many people as possible so they want to explore more pages on your site. If you’re not great at picking color schemes yourself, try this tool here*. Now, when it comes to fonts, think about what you want your visitors’ eyes to land on most. Do you want them looking at the logo? The headline? The form fields for their email address or phone number? Whatever you decide, make sure that font is highly visible and readable on any screen size!
Step Two: start with a clear call-to-action button in every page. Your website’s home page should have one main call-to-action (CTA) – telling people exactly what they can do next by clicking the button . This will help guide them through the site without getting lost or distracted. If there are only two possible actions someone could take based on this CTA, then just test which of the two CTAs converts better.
Step Three: make sure that your CTA button stands out and is easy to find, either by putting it in a contrasting color or making the text bold . If you place your call-to-action at the top of each page, then people will be able to see them as soon as they’re on your site instead of scrolling down looking for one. You can also use arrows like these (↑↑) which point towards where visitors should click next because they’re so darn big. Don’t forget about mobile devices! Make sure any important buttons are large enough to tap easily with just a thumb when holding a phone vertically (or horizontally if you really have long thumbs) .

Step Four: don’t forget to make it easy for people who read your content to share it with their friends and followers! There are a few ways you can do this by using widgets like these , or by asking them at the end of an article . You could even create social media graphics that include text from each post so those readers don’t have to take any extra steps before sharing. This is especially effective if there’s something in the post they want other people to know about because they’re passionate about it. The more traffic and shares your posts get, the higher ranking you’ll be on search engine results pages (SERPS) and the more people will read your content.
Step Five: here are a few awesome tools to help you get started with conversion rate optimization . They’re all free and easy to use!
Google Analytics is an immensely helpful tool for measuring website traffic, conversions, ROI, and much more. You can also find it in many of our templates (check those out here ). It’s important that you track this data because then you’ll be able to see what changes need to be made on your site so that it’s as effective as possible at converting customers into loyal followers.
Automatic follow up emails – There are lots of different ways these work but the most common one is when somebody fills out a form on your webpage they get an email. The purpose of this is to follow up with them and make sure they know you received their information, answer any questions that they might have, offer incentives for future purchases or remind them about some other deal from your company.
Google Analytics: This one was mentioned in Step Five but it deserves its own paragraph because it’s so important!
