How much money do you want to make? That is the question that many business owners ask themselves when they are deciding what to do with their website. If the answer is “a lot,” then you should be focusing on conversion rate optimization strategies. Many businesses spend time trying to increase traffic to their website, and fail to improve the conversion rates once they get there. This is a huge mistake. In this blog post, we will discuss 11 steps that will help increase your conversion rates and generate more revenue for your business!

What is a CTA? A call to action. This can be anything from “buy now” or “sign up for our newsletter.” When you are designing your website, make sure there is an obvious place for people to engage with the content and take some sort of action. You will want to have at least three CTAs on any page that has more than one paragraph of text on it. That way users don’t get overwhelmed by too many choices and they know exactly what to do next when they read your post!

The word choice in this sentence needs work because it doesn’t match the tone used throughout the rest of the article, but let’s fix that later.

Knowing who your target audience is will help you craft a better CTA. For example, if I am blogging about the latest tech trends in my industry and most of my readers are going to be male between the ages of 25-35 with an income greater than $100k per year then it would make sense for me to have links to stories on our site that appeal specifically to this demographic (i.e. articles about upcoming game releases or reviews of new gadget). If users come across content they’re not interested in, they won’t stay very long so we want them engaged right from the start!

You need some more examples here – let’s brainstorm what might work for other industries like retail, food service etc.

Once you know who your target audience is (and if you’re not currently sure) take the time to do research on groups of people who are interested in or can benefit from your product or services so that when it comes time to write content and develop marketing strategies they will be tailored specifically to them! The forth step is to get an idea of who you are trying to reach, what problems they may have related to the product or service you offer, and how that affects them in terms of pain points. Gathering information about potential customers will help you better understand where on the sales funnel prospects might be stuck at any given time, which can lead to targeted content marketing campaigns tailored towards specific audiences.

The fifth step is to create a persona. A buyer persona will allow you to understand your potential customer’s needs and challenges, which can help guide the content marketing strategy on your website. This includes understanding where they are in the sales funnel based on their buying behavior or how likely they are to buy specific products at different price points.
