No Man’s Sky Save Game File – How to save your game in No Man’s Sky?
To be able to create a backup of your saved files, you’ll need the following:
Xbox One or PSN account.
A USB flash drive. (minimum 128MB)
First step is connecting and using either an Xbox Live account for the Xbox One console or PlayStation Network account on a PSN enabled device with internet connection.
The second thing you have to do is plug in the USB Flash Drive into one of these devices mentioned above that has been used previously by playing no man’s sky before; this will automatically open up the memory menu. From there select “copy to device”
The third thing you need to do is select “No Man’s Sky”. This will start the process of moving all your no man’s sky data onto the USB flash drive. It may take a few minutes, but once it has completed, it will then ask if you want to delete No Man’s Sky on that console or not. You can choose yes and proceed with deleting no mans sky from that specific console or saying no – which means keep saving in no man’s sky. Your save game should now be safe!
To play this game again just plug in the USB Flash Drive into any Xbox One or PSN account enabled device and continue playing as usual.
Step by Step Guide:
Turn off your Playstation or Xbox console.
Plug in the USB Flash Drive which you will be using as a no man’s sky memory card and open up the user interface of that specific device by pressing any button on it to make sure there is enough space for no mans sky data transfer.
Select ‘No Man’s Sky’ from the list, this will start transferring all save game data into the flash drive. You can wait for it to complete but if time is running out then choose yes and proceed with deleting No Man’s Sky from that particular console OR say no – which means keep saving in no man’s sky. Your save game should now be safe! This process may take a few hours to complete.
When the save game data has been transferred, unplug the USB flash drive and insert it back into your console OR plug it in anywhere else like a PC or laptop that is running Mac OS or Linux using an appropriate port for this purpose if you don’t have access to no man’s sky on those devices but still want to be able to use them as a storage device for saving No Man’s Sky games. Remember where they are saved so when you go back home open up no man’s sky again by loading from there! This process may take just minutes with faster internet connections than what could be available while playing no mans sky on consoles.
