* Music has the power to change moods, inspire people and make memories – it’s no wonder so many of us have songs we love to sing along with and that remind us of different parts in our lives. These eight best part lyrics products are perfect for those who want to relive their favorite tunes or share them with someone else! They can do everything from wearing a tank top proclaiming their feelings about heartbreak (that says “I’m not over you yet”) out at a bar while singing loudly, or showing off one of their favorite quotes by putting stickers around the house.
*Taylor Swift is a huge inspiration for many people, and it’s no surprise that her songs are full of catchy lyrics – over the years she has been quoting some very recognizable phrases from popular TV shows or movies.* Her best-selling album Speak Now was released in 2010 with hits like “Ours” to guitar playing on tracks like “Back To December.” If you ever find yourself feeling nostalgic about times gone by, this one might be perfect for you! *As someone who lives life at 100 miles per hour (and isn’t afraid to share their story), Selena Gomez has had quite a few breakups throughout time. The singer wrote an entire single called “Good For You,” which includes lyrics such as “You’re good for me. You love my mind, so we get along.” And if you haven’t heard of the song “Irresistible” by Fall Out Boy yet, now’s your chance!*
The first album released in May 2015 is full of catchy tunes such as “Immortals,” which includes lyrics like “I’ve been told I’m not right enough/not tall enough or strong enough to play this game but someone said they saw a light within me.” This band doesn’t take themselves too seriously and that’s one thing their fans have appreciated about them from the start. *If you are looking for more heavy guitar music with rock-and-roll roots then listen to The Darkness, with lyrics like “I’m on the side of the angels, but I swear it’s just for now.”
The album “Good For You” by Nelly is full of catchy tunes about loving someone for who they are and not what society says they should be.
Fall Out Boy first released their latest album in May 2015 which includes a song called “Immortals.” The lyrics include lines such as “I’ve been told I’m not right enough/not tall enough or strong enough to play this game but someone said they saw a light within me”.
If you’re looking for more heavy guitar music with rock roots then listen to The Darkness – their most popular songs include lines like “I’m on the side of the angels, but I swear it’s only for now.”
The album “Love” by Kanye West includes a song called “Wolves,” which has lyrics about not wanting to do what society says you should. The verses say things like “Don’t give me no money/Just show me where the wolves at”. This is probably one of my favorite songs from this album because it showcases so much creativity and spontaneity in its composition.
For those looking for some great rap music with catchy lines that are easy to remember here are two albums: Beastie Boys’ debut full length studio release (1986) License To Ill and Kendrick Lamar’s third solo studio album (2016) To Pimp A Butterfly.
The Beastie Boys’ debut album includes the song “Fight For Your Right,” which has lyrics like, “You’ve got to fight for your right/To party all night.” I especially love this track because it features a riff from David Bowie’s 1977 classic “Fame” mixed in with some of their own rapping. The originality and creativity they put into these lyrics is inspiring to me as an artist.
Kendrick Lamar’s third studio album titled To Pimp A Butterfly contains one of my favorite songs called “King Kunta,” featuring vocals by rapper Schoolboy Q. Kendrick says lines about not being able to be stopped, and not being able to be silenced. I really like this song because it’s very catchy and makes you want to get up and dance when the beat kicks in!
In his first single off of Black Star (1998) Nas says, “I was 16 years old with my mind on my money/And all day sucker MCs couldn’t touch me.” These lyrics are so cool because they show that he always had a goal in life beyond just rap music, which is an important lesson for youth today who may have their sights set on something else besides artistry.
“We’re going down swinging,” is what Lykke Li sings opening her debut album Youth Novels’ second track “Twisted Metal.” I think this lyrics are especially important because they show that she’s not afraid of taking a risk and being brave.
I absolutely love the lyric, “You know we always say don’t let your past create you/But my best moments were in those times with him,” by TLC on their song “Waterfall.” These lyrics remind me to be grateful for what I have now instead of dwelling on things from the past, which can lead to depression or other mental health issues.
“Took me years just to find out who I am,” is one of my favorite Kanye West quotes off his 2013 album Yeezus. This quote reminds me that it takes time before someone will fully understand themselves and be able to put themselves fully out there.
“I will never let you go,” is my favorite lyrics from “Weezer (the Red Album)’s song, “Can’t Stop Partying.” This lyric reminds me that even if I’m not happy with myself or who I am currently, it’s important to remember all the good times and emotional connections we’ve made in our past relationships.
“To be somebody but just don’t know what they want from me/They say ‘be yourself’ cause only thing they see are dollar signs,” by Master P on his 200 album MP Da Last Don. These lyrics remind me of how many people can get lost in trying to conform and become someone else. -“I’m sorry for the way I acted, no one told me/Just be myself and not a copy of someone else,” this lyric from “Can’t Stop Partying” by Weezer reminds me that people should always stay true to themselves. -“We can do anything we want if we put our minds together,” these lyrics remind me how important it is to work with others as well as yourself in order to have success. In life all you need are your dreams, a little help, support and time and sometimes even patience! The more cooperative an individual or group is the quicker they will reach their goals.”
