This book is one of my favorites on the subject of business law and the legal environment. I think it is because I’ve been reading it for a long time and it has helped me with understanding the subject a lot better.
I was lucky enough to be able to buy this book off amazon a few months ago. I had read it before but the 6th edition is a lot more current than the previous editions. I think this new edition is even more beneficial because of the new information it will bring to the book.
One of the best things about this book is that there is a wide range of legal topics it covers. From contracts to securities to employment to product liability to consumer protection issues, the book is designed to give you the information you need to understand where you stand and what you need to do.
The new edition brings a lot more information about the ways in which the federal government can intervene to aid or hinder a business’s operations. For example, the government may approve a stock purchase or a loan, which can affect whether the business is able to continue operating. And the government may also regulate the company’s operations to ensure that they operate in a way that is conducive to the public good.
In other words, the government can decide to buy a company or approve a deal on a whim. This is a major change from our previous edition, which covered only the federal government. Now we also address state and local governments.
This is a major change because many laws are passed by state and local government only, and the government can often overrule them. For example, the IRS does not have authority over all aspects of a company, as they have over the federal government, so the IRS may decide to fine a company or approve a loan based on the company’s ability to comply with what the IRS says is right.
As we covered in our edition with the IRS, in some of the states where the federal government is not yet fully sovereign, the federal rules apply to all of the states. This is not true for all states. For example, many states have their own rules that govern certain regulations that apply to companies they own or that operate in their state. If you are a company that is subject to a state regulation, you may find that your state’s regulation will trump that of the federal government.
For example, if a company that operates in your state wants to conduct business in another state, the federal government will have no authority to force the company to comply with the laws of your state. Your state may even say that an entity that is a substantial part of the company’s business in your state does not have to comply with its laws.
If you’re looking for a quick and easily reference guide to various business regulations, this is a good place to start. It’s divided into two books; one for personal injury and another for small business. The first one covers a lot of the basics, the second one covers more specific topics like how to set up an LLC, how to properly register a business, and how to have a business license. The other book is a guide to how much a business license costs.
I think that the best part of the book is that the authors use a lot of the same examples as the book I am writing. If you are looking to understand the subject matter itself, this is a good place to start. If you are looking to look up legal issues, the third book covers that as well. Overall, I found this book to be a very good resource.
