That way your brand becomes a part of the marketing plan, but it stays the same.
The problem is most companies that have a brand that is used throughout their entire marketing strategy, they don’t change it. They don’t change it because they don’t have to. They just keep using the same brand over and over until it wears out. It’s like putting a brand name on a rubber band and never letting go.
Thats the exact same problem as with a brand, the brand name is just a brand that has become a part of your marketing strategy, and over and over again. You can change it, you can change it. You cant just change it like you cant change all the other parts. You cant change the logo, you cant change the colors, you cant change the packaging. You cant change the name.
So what do you do when over and over again you get the exact same idea? You change it. You find a new brand that uses the exact same idea, but with a slightly new name. Or, you find an idea within the brand that you dont like, but you dont think it can be changed. You try and create your own brand.
To do so, you need to know the difference between brand and idea. Brand is a thing that has already been created and comes with a set of characteristics that you can use to create your own brand. Idea is that something that you can create, but is not yet brand. Ideas can be combined in any way you like. Brand is a very limited concept, while ideas are infinite.
Most great brands have some sort of set of characteristics that make them stand out from the rest. They include things that people love about the brand, that make it stand out from the competition, and that define what makes the brand unique.
