The fact is I have no idea. I don’t know anything about my business and have never needed to work for anyone else. I’m not going to share any secrets with you.
Just like I don’t know any secrets, I don’t know a lot of people, and I don’t know what’s going on in my life. It is actually quite common for people to have no idea who their customers are, what they look like, what they sound like, or what their business is all about. When you have no idea what your customers are doing and why they’re doing it, you can’t know what they’re up to, and that’s a very bad thing.
As a result, there is a lot of information available on the net about you and your business. The problem is that most of it is either not true or is inaccurate. Many people have little or no information about their business’s customers so they can’t effectively build a relationship with them. This is an example of the same sort of thing with your real estate business.
There is a reason that the internet is called the “information super highway.” If you are not aware of everything that is out there about your business, you lose your ability to build a relationship with your customers and your business will suffer.
The internet is a very important tool to building a relationship with your customers. I have a friend who has built a huge part of his business on the internet, and the reason is not because he is desperate for business, but because he has the ability to build it. I am sure there are plenty of people who are doing this. They just don’t have access to the internet.
One thing I have talked about on various podcasts and in various interviews is that in the absence of the internet, building a relationship with people is mostly a function of face-to-face interaction. I have no doubt that this has played a big part in the rise of companies like LinkedIn and Craigslist, which have grown from small businesses to huge businesses because they have found a way to get the kind of people they needed to build their business.
But what I think needs to be emphasized is that building relationships has nothing to do with online platforms. Building relationships is simply a matter of finding people who you can trust and get with in real life. I know this sounds like I’m making excuses, but I’m not. Trust is essential to building relationships.
I know I’ve said this before, but it’s something that I’ve always said. If you are a person who doesn’t trust people, you will find things difficult in relationships. This is especially true if you are a person who is used to doing things your way. So, if you are looking for someone to share your life with, you will definitely need to find someone who can share your life with you.
But, Ive said this before as well and it is the same reason why Ive always had a soft spot for people who can help you in your business or business ideas. The best way to make real friends is through business. If you are a person who is not comfortable being around people because you don’t believe in business, you are sure to find out one day that you actually do not need them because you already have all the people you need to help you in your business.
