The home health care industry is worth an estimated $30 billion, and it is growing at a compound annual growth rate of 28.7 percent, according to the 2012 Home Health Care Industry Report published by the National Association of Home Health Agencies (ANAHC).
Home health care is an area of the health care industry that has seen explosive growth in the past decade. It makes sense that home health care is booming because the health service industry that was once dominated by doctors and hospitals is now being taken over by the home health care industry.

The ANAHC reports that there were 1.6 million full-time home health care workers in 2015, and that number is expected to increase to 2.5 million by 2020, which would be a 7.5% annual growth. The ANAHC also stated that the number of home health agencies is now 1.3 million, up from 1 million in 1999.
This represents a huge shift for the industry. For years these agencies were primarily home care providers who dealt with a clientele of elderly, infirm, and disabled people. They were the same people who used to use doctors and hospitals to provide home health care services. Now these agencies are taking care of people who are much different from these prior people.
While your mind seems to be pretty busy, your body seems like you’re a part of a big network of people with different personalities and interests. You might be a doctor, a nurse, or a patient. But you’re not a doctor. You’re a patient.

I’ve had clients come to me and suggest they are interested in starting a garden. I don’t think anyone can blame them for wanting to do this, as it’s extremely rewarding and quite an eye-opener.
Gardeners are a special case because they seem to be a lost art. You can get into a lot of trouble from gardeners because you don’t know what you are doing. They are experts at creating gardens, but they are also experts at creating gardens that look the same every day, like a real estate agency. Because there is so much that you have to learn about gardening, they can become very boring for quite a while.
