It is one of those things that seems to have homeowners pretty stumped. I think it’s because movies theaters are an easy way to get into the theater and not just the one you’ve seen. I think you can pick up two movies for the first time, with a few exceptions.

You go to your seat and realize that youve only had two movies and you have nothing to talk about. You turn to your friend and say “I don’t even know where to sit”.
This is one of the more common problems I see. Most movies, especially those that are not comedies, have one or two theaters in a town. And when they do have a theater, they usually have a lot of capacity. When you go to the theater to see a movie that youve seen before, you are faced with a choice. Either you go to that theater and sit in the very front row or you wait in a line in the theater with a friend.
Which is totally fine and dandy but it’s pretty much impossible to sit in the very front row. In fact, there is no line at all. Most theaters are designed to seat more people on the floor and less people in the seats. So when you go to see a movie that youve seen before, you have to sit in the very front row just like at some other theater.
In a way, this is an interesting challenge because there are always people who have never seen a movie before. This often results in people who are much more likely to choose the front row. So it’s a very interesting challenge to see how theater seats change with previous knowledge of the movie.
I think the big takeaway here is that theaters in Texas, like most large cities, are built around the idea of seating more people in the front. But in Harlingen, Texas, that’s not what’s happening. Instead the top three rows of theaters are the very last row, and the bottom two rows are the very first row.
