I was playing Hypixel Skyblock the other day and I realized something. I couldn’t find any soul sand! Now, I know how to get gold in skyblock (by mining for it), but there’s no way to find soul sand unless you purchase it from the server store. This is a problem that many people have had on this popular Minecraft server, so we’re going to go over how you can make your own soul sand in order to ensure that you don’t run out of resources while playing!

To start, we need some dirt and water. Mix the two together by placing a block of dirt into a pool of water so that it’s being soaked up by the water (a single bucket will work). This is where things can get tricky – if done incorrectly, this mixture may turn out as sludge instead! To ensure that this doesn’t happen, put blocks around your crafting table while mixing them; otherwise there might be an opportunity for stray drops of quicksand from outside sources to fall onto your mix before it dries. Once you’re sure that the mix is going to turn out as dirt, wait for it to dry and then you’ll have your own soul sand!
To start with this one you need some coal ores (they look like black rocks). These can be mined using a pickaxe from any stone blocks found around spawn points. Once collected, use an iron axe on said ore block so that they break into four pieces of coal. Next, hold down right click on the furnace while holding all four pieces. Finally – if done correctly – this should result in one piece of charcoal and three coals left over which will now act as fuel for your furnace! The last step here is to place the charcoal into your furnace with a coal and wood block underneath.
You can use this method to get soul sand in Hypixel Skyblock!
In this guide, I will be showing you the best way and fastest method to collect Soul Sand. For those of you who don’t know what it is – Soul Sand looks like a dark grey block found at spawn points that are by water sources or near trees. It can also be mined using an iron pickaxe which has the ability to mine through any type of stone blocks around spawn points. Once collected from these areas then we want to use our Iron Axe on them so they break into four pieces as shown below:
Next, hold down right click on your furnace while holding all four pieces (they’ll turn into one piece). If done correctly – this should result in your furnace turning into orange and you’ll see the word “Crafting” on top of it.
This means that your Soul Sand has been successfully crafted! Now, just take out the piece from the crafting table to get a stack (64) of Soul Sands – which is enough for when starting off in Hypixel Skyblock.”
It’s not necessary to keep breaking them up as long as they’re near each other because once one block gets clicked on while holding an Iron Axe then all nearby blocks will turn into four pieces automatically.
The next sentence should be about how to craft soul sand with different materials. This can lead down another rabbit hole or end this article altogether. If we want to continue writing, we should mention how to craft Soul Sand with different materials.
Soul sand can be crafted using a furnace, an orange colored piece of wool (any type), and four pieces of coal in the crafting table for 64 blocks. It’s not necessary to keep breaking them up as long it they’re near each other because once one block gets clicked on while holding an Iron Axe then all nearby blocks will turn into four automatically.
The next sentence could be about how to craft soul sand with different materials:
It also possible to use snow or ice instead of coal; at least two stacks are needed, but there is no need for any additional material – just don’t forget that you’ll need snow or ice! Other combinations include four pieces of coal and one piece of orange wool or two stacks of snow/ice.
Finally, please be careful with how you use your coal – it’s not a renewable resource! If there is a need for more soul sand in the future then craft another batch and store them until they’re needed.
why people should avoid using too much coal:
Coal will eventually run out which means that some players may have to find an alternate way to break blocks if they want more of this material. It also possible to buy more from other players on auction sites or get donated by friends who are willing to share their inventory/resources.
